Afterward, relax and swim in the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean at a beautiful beach. Also, enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch.
Next, visit the charming town of Agios Nikolaos, known for its pretty lake, cozy cafes, and small shops. You’ll have free time to explore, shop for local souvenirs, or enjoy the peaceful views of the water.
The tour to Agios Nikolaos and Spinalonga also includes a visit to a traditional olive oil factory. See the olive oil making and taste some of Crete’s best products. Learn about the importance of olive trees in the island’s culture and cuisine.

Boat Trip to Spinalonga Island.
From Elounda, enjoy a relaxing boat ride across the bay to Spinalonga Island, also called the “Island of Tears.” This small island has a fascinating history.
Guided Tour of Spinalonga.
Your tour guide will take you on a tour through the island’s stone walls and historic buildings. Hear stories about its past, including how lepers lived here in the 20th century. You’ll also learn about the ancient city of Olous, which once stood nearby.
After the guided Spinalonga tour, we will return to the boat and sail to Kolokitha Bay. Kolokytha is a quiet and beautiful beach. Here, you can swim in the clear waters and relax by the shore. While you enjoy the peaceful setting, enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch on board. Choose from a pork chop, chicken, or a vegetarian burger, a fresh Greek salad, and wine, or a soft drink.
Agios Nikolaos Town
After lunch, we will head back to Elounda and then drive to Agios Nikolaos town. You’ll have free time to explore the town.
Agios Nikolaos is a lovely town in Crete. It sits by a clear, deep lake called Lake Voulismeni. The town has narrow streets and colorful shops. You can sit in cafes by the water. Agios Nikolaos is known for its beautiful views of the lake. You can see boats floating on the calm water. The town also has a rich history, with ancient sites nearby. You can walk around the marina or visit a small chapel. Agios Nikolaos is a peaceful place to relax and explore.

On our way back, we will visit a Cretan olive oil factory.

08:00 – 09:20: Pickup from your hotel or meeting point.
10:30: Departure by boat from Elounda.
11:10: Arrival at Kolokitha Bay – Free time for swimming and BBQ lunch (1.5 hours).
12:45: Departure from Kolokitha Bay.
1:10 pm: Arrival at Spinalonga Island for the tour (approx. 1.5 hours).
2:45 pm: Departure from Spinalonga to Elounda.
3:00 pm: Arrival in Elounda.
3:45 pm: Visit the Olive Oil Factory and enjoy a tasting.
4:45 pm: Arrival in Agios Nikolaos for 1 hour of free time.
5:45 pm: Departure from Agios Nikolaos back to your hotel.
6:30 – 07:10 pm: Return time to your hotel.
